Kathmandu, 1 October: Lawmakers have demanded death sentence to rapists, arguing that existing punishments are not enough to control rapes.
Rape cases have increased due to lack of the implementation of existing laws against rape, they claimed at a meeting of the Women and Social Development Committee of the Federal House of Representatives on Wednesday.
