Kathmandu, 22 September: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Tuesday the Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed 1,356 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours.
With the latest addition, the number of infected persons has reached 66,632.Of the new cases reported today, 647 are from the Kathmandu Valley. The Ministry has confirmed two deaths in the past 24 hours. With this, the total fatalities relating to corona virus infection has reached 429.
Today 823 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 48,061. As of today, there are 18,142 active cases of infection across the country.
