Kathmandu, 17 September: Finally the Vice-chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Bamdev Gautam has been nominated to the National Assembly (NA).
President Bidya Devi Bhandari formally endorsed Gautam’s nomination to the upper house of the Federal Parliament, today.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers’ on Monday evening had recommended him to the National Assembly. He took the oath of office this afternoon.
