The dispute has deepened in the Janata Samajwadi Party-Nepal within a few months of its creation by unifying Rashtriya Janata Party Nepal and Samajwadi Party Nepal, only to prevent split in the latter. And the leaders of former RJP-N have engaged in the dispute over the formation of the party’s central committee.
According to an agreement, the members of the then-presidential pannel of the RJP-N should submit the names of the leaders for the party’s central committee. But they are bargaining for more members to their group. In a meeting of the presidential committee, Mahatntha Thakur had asked the leaders to submit the names of the leaders to be nominated in the central committee. But a few leaders, Raj Kishor Yadav and Mahendra Yadav, asked him how many names they should submit as they were against the previous agreement, according to which Thakur and Rajendra Mahato need to submit nmaes of 95 leaders, Sarat Singh and Mahendra Yadav 44 leaders each and Raj Kishowor and Anil Kumar Jha 30 leaders each. But Mahendra Yadav, Rajkishor and Jha have not accepted the proposal. They accused Thakur and Mahato deciding to form a central committee in monopoly.
Rajkishor and Jha demanding at least 40 central members each from them and Mahendra Yadav has asked at least 50 members, but Thakur and Mahato are not ready to offer the seats. And this dispute is likely to cause a division in the newly formed party.
