Kathmandu, 6 September: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Sunday the Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed 980 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours, taking the national tally to 46,257. Among the fresh cases, 354 have been reported from within Kathmandu Valley.
Today 1,814 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 28,941. As of today, there are 17,027 active cases of infection across the country.
