Kathmandu, 5 September: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Saturday the Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed 1041 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours, taking the national tally to 45,277. Among the fresh cases, 454 have been reported from within Kathmandu Valley.
Today 1,566 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 27,127. As of today, there are 17,870 active cases of infection across the country.
