Kathmandu, 4 September: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Friday the Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed 1,354 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours, taking the national tally to 44,226. Among the fresh cases, 454 have been reported from within Kathmandu Valley.
Today 768 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 25,561. As of today, there are 18,404 active cases of infection across the country.
