Kathmandu, 3 September: Bodies of 11 people who had gone missing in flooding at Dhorpatan Municipality in Baglung district on Wednesday night have been recovered.
At least 41 people had gone missing when a flooded Bhuji river gushed into settlements at the municipality’s 7, 8 and 9 wards, according to the district police office. The identity of the deceased is yet to be established. Thirty one houses have been destroyed. A team of Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and Nepali Army has been deployed to the disaster site.
