With the submission of the report of the task force formed to suggest ways to resolve the rifts in the ruling Nepal Communist Party and the decision of the chairmen duo—KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal to discuss the report in the party secretariat meeting as well as the Standing Committee meeting, senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has felt he was deceived by Dahal by agreeing to accept the report of the task force, which has put him (Nepal) nowhere in the deal supposed to end the differences in the party. According to the report, Dahal will lead the party until the general convention and Oli the government for a full term. Madhav Nepal is nowhere. Moreover, the key demand of one person, one post of the rival faction has been eliminated in the report, and this is what has shocked Nepal as well as Khanal. Now, there will be no wonder if Nepal rejected the report although two of the six leaders who prepared the report were Nepal’s representatives. In fact, the task force members became liberal to PM Oli in the hope of becoming ministers and prepared the report to woo Oli.
