Kathmandu, 1 September: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Tuesday the Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed 1069 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours, taking the national tally to 40,529. Among the fresh cases, 481 have been reported from within Kathmandu Valley.
Today 768 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 22,178. As of today, there are 18,351 active cases of infection across the country.
