Nepali Congress spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma has slammed that government and Prime Minister Oli for the poor handling of the Covid-19 pandemic. In a statement, he said the restriction was required not in the movements of people but the expression of PM Oli, corruption and poor governance. He made remarks after the government allowed local levels to impose restrictions to control coronavirus.
Meanwhile, Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba has urged the government to manage a new way to make the fight against Covid-19 more effective by using the time of the current prohibition.
Demanding expansion of PCR tests in all 77 districts, he urged the government to provide a test in community levels.
Deuba in a statement on Sunday demanded the management of more Covid-19 hospitals, with sufficient isolation ward and ventilators.
The main opposition party chief also urged the government to purchase health materials transparently following standard procedures.
Appreciating the health workers working in the frontline, Deuba demanded with the government to give special attention to provide necessary health materials and physical environment for the health workers.
