Kathmandu, 10 July : The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has agreed to provide US $50 million equivalent to Rs. 5.95 billion to the Government of Nepal to finance Civil Aviation Sector Improvement Program.
Shreekrishna Nepal, Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Finance and Mukhtor Khamudkhanov, Country Director, Nepal Resident Mission of ADB have signed the agreement. The amount will be used to strengthen the aviation safety oversight capabilities and operational efficiencies of Nepal, according to the Ministry of Finance.
