Kathmandu, 10 December : A meeting of Central Secretariat of the ruling Nepal Communist Party has amended its statute to appease influential leader Bamdev Gautam. He will be Deputy Chairman of the party just below Chairmen duo Khagda Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal. Gautam is the mastermind behind the unification of the than CPN (Maoist) and CPN (UML). The amendment needs Central and Standing Committee endorsement.
