Former King Gyanendra who is in Bhairahawa since the first of December, is visiting different shrines in the Western Region. The former King is staying at the Tiger Resort Palace in Bhairahawa for a few days, informed Dr Phani Pathak, press secretary of the former King.
On 2 December, the former King visited Butwal and offered pooja at the Shiva Temple. On 3 December, the former King offered pooja at the Bhagwati Temple in Marchawar.
Today, the former King is scheduled to visit Palpa and offer pooja at the Bhagwati Temple there. On 6 December, he is offering pooja at the Pashupati Temple in Gorusinghe. On 7 December, he is offering pooja at the Bhagwati Temple in Nawalparashi and on 8 December, he is returning to Kathmandu.
During his stay in Bhairahawa and visit to different parts in West Nepal, he is meeting local people as well.
