PM takes ill, undergoes Appendicitis surgery

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has taken ill again.
After feeling pain in his stomach, he was taken to TU Teaching Hospital on Tuesday morning.
He underwent a successful appendicitis surgery at Manmohan Cardiothoracic, Vascular and Transplant Centre under the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH), Maharajgunj, Tuesday afternoon.
The operation was performed by expert surgeons.
PM Oli who is preparing to undergo kidney transplant in the US had attended a lengthy review meeting of the ministers on Monday night.
But in the morning, he was admitted to the Manmohan Cardiothoracic, Vascular and Transplant Centre under the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) today morning for the surgery.
PM had undergone the surgery, after the doctors diagnosed PM with developed appendicitis.
Issuing a statement Tuesday evening, TUTH executive director Uttam Krishna Shrestha said that the PM’s health condition was stable. He was undergoing treatment at Intensive Care Unit.
Chairman of the Ruling Nepal Communist Party Pushpa Kamal Dahal and other leaders reached the hospital to inquire about the health of Prime Minister Oli.
His condition has improved significantly on Wednesday.
