CIAA files corruption cases against 38 govt. employees

Kathmandu, 25 November: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority on has filed cases against 38 government employees including three under secretaries for their alleged irregularities in issuing driving licenses to 1284 persons.

The anti-graft body filed charge-sheets at the Special Court against the serving and retired government officials including then chief of Transport Management Office, Ekantakuna, Ananda Keshari Pokharel, Under Secretary Dharma Raj Dhungana and Under Secretary Babu Lal Regmi, according to a CIAA press release.
