PM tells India to take back army from Nepali territory

By Our Reporter

Prime Minister KP Sharma has said that no one will be allowed to encroach even an inch of the country’s land.
Inaugurating a meeting of National Youth Association Nepal in the capital on Sunday, Prime Minister Oli said that the government was capable of protecting the county’s territory.
“Some are highlighting the encroachment of the country’s land as current incident though it was the case of decades ago. The government will not allow to encroach even an inch of the country’s land. The government wants India to take back its army from the Nepali territory,” the Prime Minister said.
He also said that Nepal would not make encroachment of land of any country and will not allow any country to encroach its land.
He said that instead of making correction in the newly unveiled map by India, he would return the encroached land.
“Some have suggested the government to make correction on the map published by the Indian government, but we want to take back the encroached land before correcting the map,” the PM said.
The remarks of PM Oli were also covered by the Indian newspapers and online portals on Monday. However, in many Indian media outlets, his views were distorted.
PM Oli said the government would resolve the problem through diplomatic process.
Prime Minister Oli thanked general people for providing strong support to the government for taking initiation in returning country’ encroached territory.
