PM in a hurry
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has finally decided to undergo an operation for another kidney transplant abroad, more likely in the US. After the operation, he should take complete rest for three to five months. Therefore, he is trying to complete all the works that remains to be done as soon as possible.
Last week, he made a change in his private secretariat members. Accordingly, he has decided to reshuffle the cabinet by ousting those ministers who were unable to show their performance and replacing them by new faces.
He has even tried to bring Bamdev Gautam as the deputy prime minister so that Gautam could look after the PM’s portfolio during Oli’s absence. If this attempt will not become successful, DPM Ishwor Pokhrel will look after the PM’s portfolio.
Accordingly, he has planned to give the party responsibility to co-chairman Pushpakamal Dahal to work in the party during his absence.
