Kathmandu, 18 November: Nepal Student Organisation, sister organization of the Nepali Congress organised torchlight demonstration this evening at Machhapokhari, Balaju protesting against Indian political map unveiled recently by incorporating Nepali territories Kalapani, Lipulekh, Limpuydhara.
The Police intervened the demonstration and arrested 21 student leaders.
Those arrested by the Police are: Niranjan Thapa, Ishwar Adhikari, Subhas Ghimire, Bijaya Dhungana, Sultan Miya, Manoj Rana, Kiran Bhattarai, Santosh Gurung, Pawan Thapa, Prabinjung Shah, Rajan Burlakoti, Prashant Lamichane, Maheshwar Poudel, Jagadish Thapa, among others, according to the Online Khabar.
