Kathmandu, 23 October: President Bidhya Devi Bhandari is returning home this evening from Tokyo, Japanese capital, after attending coronation ceremony of Japanese Emperor Naruhito on Tuesday.
Nepali flag carrier Nepal Airlines has just started direct flight to Osaka, Japan. She could catch the NA flight from Osaka to return home. She didn’t wish to fly with RA flight from Osaka, rather, she flew to Guangzhou, China and flew to Kathmandu with the China Southern Airlines.
Earlier, she paid a state visit to Myanmar. She took the Thai International flight to go to Myanmar via Bangkok. The Nepal Airlines has schedule flights to Bangkok but she didn’t fly with the national flag carrier.
If the head of the nation hates national flag carrier, what message would spread from such an activity?
