As many as 18 passengers died in bus accident at Raduwakhola in Amargadhi Municipality-11 of Dadeldhura district last Thursday.
A total of 45 passengers were on the bus when the accident took place and 27 other passengers were injured.
In the accident, Keshav Kadayat, 21 of Godawari municipality-2, Kailali, Sharada Kadayat, 20, of Godawari municipality-10, Yogendra Bohara, 22, and Shankar Jora, 24, of Shikhar municipality-7, Doti, Sharada Rawal, 22, of Shikhar municipality-7, Narayan Chaudhary of Dhangadhi metropolis-28, Kailali, Shashi B.K., 35, Dipayal Silgadhi-4, Doti, Goda Bhat, 25, of Dipayal Silgadhi- 11, and Yogendra Rawal, 40, of Dipayal Silgadhi-4, were killed.
Similarly, Chakra Dhami, 22, of Nawadurga rural municipality-3, Dadeldhura, Rohit Balayar of Shikhar municipality-20, Doti, Maya Rawal, 30, of Ganyapdhura-3, Doti, Puran Kathayat of Godawari-10, Kailali, Tilak Khati, 17, of Nawadurga rural municipality-3, Dadeldhura, Tej Dhami, 30 of Nawadurga, Sagar Balayar, 15, of Shikhar municipality-10, and Padam B..K, 24, of Shikhar municipality-11, were killed.
The bus with registration number Se 1 Ka 293 of Peace Zone Academy of Shikhar municipality, Doti met with the accident while returning from a local fair at Ugratara Temple to Amargadhi.
