Kathmandu, 7 October: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Janakpur on 12 December, reports Ratopati online portal.
According to the report, Modi is going to inaugurate the Janakpur-Jayanagar Railway, the only railway connecting Nepal and India.
In the meantime, Modi will attend the Bibaha Panchami ceremony [marriage ceremony of Hindu God Ram and Goddess Sita] taking place in Janakpur, reports Ratopati with reference to the Indian Embassy source.
Modi, who is busy in 2019 election campaign, will address in nine places while travelling to Janakpur from Delhi, according to a leader in BJP.
The Janakpur-Jayanagar Railway, constructed under the grant assistance of India is at the final stage of starting commercial service.
