Kathmandu, 5 October: Prime Minister and chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) and another chairman of the party Pushpakamal Dahal Prachanda held one-on-one talks today at PM’s official residence Baluatar, reports Ratopati online portal.
According to Bishnu Sapkota Jugal, press coordinator of PM Oli, the secret meeting is related to PM’s visit to the US, dissatisfaction among the party leaders and the government performance.
PM Oli had returned on Thursday after attending the UN General Assembly, whereas, Prachanda had returned from Singapore on 1 October after treatment of his wife Sita.
At the time when both the chairmen were out of the country, senior leader Madhav Nepal, expressing dissatisfaction on formation of the province committees of the party, had organised a gathering of standing committee members of the party.
