‘Political consensus on corruption’

Kathmandu, 4 June:  A lawmaker of the ruling Nepal Communist Party has commented that all political parties of ruling and opposition sides have been forging consensus on big corruption scandals. According to him all political leaders are self-centered and are least bothered about the progress of the country.

Ghanashyam Bhusal is of the view that big corruption cases cannot take place without an agreement of key political parties. Addressing a House of Representatives meeting of the Federal Parliament on the new budget plan in on Tuesday, he said that all the big scams that have surfaced so far in Nepal were the result of ignoring good governance and mismanagement the political parties and their leaders.
