PM expresses ire against NAC management

By Our Reporter
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has announced that he would not provide a single penny to Nepal Airlines until its management work efficiently.
He underlined the urgency of improving the management of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) to save it from a collapse.
Addressing a function organised to mark the 61st Anniversary of NAC on Monday, the Prime Minister said that the government could not provide any financial support to the corporation in the existing situation.
“Why is the national flag carrier, NAC, always in loss at a time when all the private companies are earning profit?” the Prime Minister questioned.
He said that the corporation was a property of the state, therefore, the government could intervene at any time. “If the corporation management cannot operate it effectively, strategic partner can also be invited,” he added.
