Guthi bill to be corrected

Kathmandu, 16 June: Prime Minister Khagda Oli has assured that the government will make corrections to the controversial Guthi Bill owing to widespread protests from locals and stakeholders.

Responding to a query at the Tribhuvan International Airport upon his arrival from Europe junket, he said “The government will correct it if there is anything causing adverse impacts on religion and culture, regardless of whether it is put intentionally or unintentionally.”
