Kathmandu, 9 August: Hari Kumar Pokharel, chief of Division Road Office Pokhara and division engineer Pabitra Mani Acharya, have been arrested while taking the bribe.
A team from Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) Pokhara arrested the duo along with cash Rs 900,000.

Kathmandu, 9 August:At least three people died and 14 sustained injuries when a passenger bus plunged into Trishuli River at Salanghat of Rorang rural municipality in Dhading along the Prithvi Highway this morning.
The incident occurred when the ill-fated bus bound for Kathmandu from Malangawa of Sarlahi district skidded off the highway, according to local police.
