Kathmandu, 18 November: The government has decided to purchase luxury vehicles for the President through the Nepal Army, reports Annapurna Post daily.
The Army has planned to procure 8 vehicles for the use of the President, including vehicles used for escorting the President’s travel.
As problem was appeared in the President’s vehicles, considering security of the President, it has been decided to purchase new vehicles for her.
Earlier, the government had allotted 40 million rupees to purchase vehicles for the President but the Nepal Army, explaining security reasons, demanded more fund to purchase vehicles for the President. Currently, additional 143 million rupees has been allotted.
