State 2 to mourn on 13th day of Bara storm

The State 2 Government has decided to mourn the loss of life and property caused by the March 31 tornado that ravaged several parts of Bara and Parsa districts.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers of the State held on Sunday decided to observe a provincial level mourning on the 13th day of the disaster in which 28 people were killed and property worth millions of rupees was destroyed.
Internal Affairs and Law Minister of State 2 Gyanendra Kumar Yadav urged all the people, civil servants, students and teachers to observe a 2-minute silence at 11 am wishing eternal peace of the departed souls.
He informed that the state government would coordinate with the federal government to address the problems of toilets, drinking water, power outage and shortage of tarpaulins faced by the storm victims in the two districts.
The State 2 government also decided to provide Rs. 25,000 to the families of each killed in the disaster to perform their last rites.
