Parliament endorses budget

By Our Reporter
The Federal Parliament has endorsed the Appropriation Bill of the fiscal year 2019/20 with majority votes.
Minister for Finance Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada had tabled the bill for its endorsement in the House of Representatives seeking its approval. The endorsement of the bill on Tuesday opened the path for the government to expend the budget of the next fiscal year.
Before the session endorsed the Bill Minister for Finance Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada addressed the House on behalf of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli that the budget allocation was fair, balanced and justifiable.
Prime Minister Oli was scheduled to furnish answers to the questions relating to the Office of the Prime Minister, the Council of Ministers, Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, the Offices of the President and Vice President and secretariat of the National Planning Commission (NPC). But he did not attend the meeting for no apparent reason.
