Hyatt Hotel, Dwarika’s pay peanuts

Kathmandu, 19 May: The owner of a huge chunk of land is Lord Pashupatinath and the user of it is the Hyyatt hotel situated at Tudal Bauddha. Seventeen ropani land of Lord Shiva fetches just Rs. 34 thousand per annum only. The rent of the land is so low that Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT)- that takes care of Pashupatinath has, demanded an increment in rent amount.

According to Kantipur daily, Another hotel Dwarika, Til Ganaga Eye Hospital, Gaushala  Guest House (Dharmasala) and Tribhuvan International Airport too have paid very low amount for using colossal land mass of Pashupatinath temple.
