Former King to resume central Tarai visit

Former King Gyanendra is going to resume the impending central Tarai visit from 13 March, according to Dr Phani Pathak, former King’s press secretary.
The former King had postponed the visit last week and returned Kathmandu after former Queen Mother felt sick and was hospitalized.
According to reports, the former Queen Mother, 91, is recovering her health, and thus, the former King is resuming the impending visit of Dhanusha, Sarlhai, Udayapur and Saptari.
According to sources, he is touring the southern plain telling the people to raise strong voice for Hindu state.
On 13 March, he will be arriving Janakpur, Dhanusha. He will stay at the Sita Hotel in Janakpur.
His tour coincided with the Rastriya Prajatantra Party’s Mechi-Mahakali chariot procession being organised demanding restoration of Hindu State.
After Janakpur, the former king will tour Siraha on Thursday. He will reach Udaypur on Saturday, spending Friday in Janakpur.
During his Tarai tour, the former king is scheduled to visit the temples and shrines of the region.
After Udaypur, he would reach Rajbiraj of Spatari on Sunday.
After visiting Saptari, he would return to Damak to prepare new schedule of his visit.
The former king will be accompanied by his secretary Sagar Timilsian and personal aide Sudan Thapa.
During his Tarai tour, the former king will meet local politicians and listen to them.
