Kathmandu, 9 October: Former King Gyanendra is offering Dasain Tika to the general public at his private residence Nirmal Niwas on Friday, 19 October.
The Tika time for the general public is scheduled to be started from 4 pm, according to Dr Phani Pathak, the former King’s press secretary.
The former King, who is currently on a visit to Sri Lanka and Maldives with family, will be reaching Mumbai on 14 October. In Mumbai, he will offer special pooja at the Sree Laxmi Chandi Mahayegya performed by Shree Shiva Shakti Rahuleshwaranda Foundation, a Hindu religious organization.
The former King is returning home on 16 October after the special pooja in Mumbai.

According to some vernacular weeklies published in Kathmandu, although it was said that the former King was on a private visit to Sri Lanka, he had very important meetings with the Indian, Chinese and some western authorities.
