Due to objection from Indian defence and intelligence agencies, EPG report has not been made public

Kathmandu, 16 November: The Indian defence ministry and intelligence network’s disagreement has caused delay in making public the EPG report, reports Kantipur daily.

Commitment was made in reviewing 1950 treaty with the provision of Nepal, as a sovereign nation, can purchase necessary arms from any of the countries in the world.

This provision has been objected by the Indian defence and intelligence networks, the daily has claimed.
