CNI to organize Nepal Entrepreneurship Summit

Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI), in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Supplies along with Bishal Media Group is organizing Nepal Entrepreneurship Summit 2019 from 14th February. The summit is going to be hosted with the theme of “Federal Nepal: Opportunities for Investment and Growth” in Hotel Yak and Yeti, Durbarmarg, Kathmandu.

The event will be inaugurated by Rt. Honorable President of Nepal, special address by Rt. Honorable Prime Minister of Nepal and closing address by Honorable Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, former Prime Minister of Nepal. There will be a special session of Provincial Minister for Industry from all the 7 Provinces of Nepal.

The event will be parted into four session viz. Provinces- Fostering Investment and Job Opportunities, Developing Entrepreneurial Ecosystem, Bridging the Gap between Idea and Funding and Journey to Success – Leading for Change.

This is the first endeavor of CNI in collaboration with the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce, Industries and Supplies and Bishal Media Group. The program aim to provide networking platform for entrepreneurs, to promote entrepreneurship as an engine of growth and prosperity and to propel the positive changes to the regulatory and social environment.

The organizer has aim of attending more than 700 participants in the summit. The Investors, Industry Leaders, Aspiring Entrepreneurs, Students, Legislators, Non-State Actors and the Media can be participated in the summit. It will reinforce entrepreneurship as the vehicle for rapid economic development, develop networks between small, medium and large entrepreneurs to create conducive environment for innovation, technology and entrepreneurship development.

The Summit will focus on the sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem and its relevance in the current federal structure. The outcomes from these discussions will go on to support government’s vision and action plan to drive entrepreneurship across Nepal. The summit will feature plenary sessions with leaders and experts from diverse sector and interaction sessions with youth entrepreneurs, industry leaders and venture capitalists from Nepal and India.
