CIAA files case against NOC former chief Khadka

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a corruption case against former Executive Director of Nepal Oil Corporation Gopal Khadka on the charge of accumulating more than Rs. 186.6 million in unexplained wealth.
Khadka was said to have embezzled over a billion rupees while procuring land plots to set up oil storage facilities in various districts.
The case against Khadka was filed on Monday at the special court alleging that he owned property worth 186.6 million rupees without known sources of income.
