‘Bills will be amended’

Kathmandu, 12 June: At a time when many of the bills registered in the Federal Parliament have courted controversy over their contents, Chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party Pushpa Kamal Dahal said that these bills will be amended in consultation with concerned stakeholders.

Speaking at a press conference in Chitwan on Wednesday, Chairman Dahal said that both NCP and the government are fully aware of the ongoing protests against these bills tabled by the government in the House. He said that there was lack of enough preparations on the part of the government in the process of drafting these bills.
