Floods, landslides claim 32 in Kathmandu Valley, 50 nationwide.
Kathmandu, September 28: 32 persons have lost their lives in the Kathmandu Valley due to the floods and landslides.
According to the Valley Police Office, Ranipokhari, a total of 32 persons lost their lives in the Valley.
They are 11 in Kathmandu district, 14 in Lalitpur district and five in Bhaktapur district.
Accordingly, six in Kavreplanchowk, two in Sindhuplanchok, two in Panchthar, two in Dhankuta, one each in Dhankuta, Sindhuli and Jhapa have died.
Dozens of people have been injured and dozens are missing, according to the Police.
Above four thousand security personnel are mobilized in the Valley to conduct rescue operations.
