Kathmandu, September 20: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli left for New York, USA, to participate in the 79th General Assembly of the United Nations, leading the Nepali delegation. Speaker Devraj Ghimire, National Assembly Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal, Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakashman Singh, among others, saw off PM Oli at Tribhuvan International Airport. Minister of Finance Bishnu Paudel, Minister of Home Affairs Ramesh Akhtar, Minister of Industry Damodar Bhandari, Minister of Water Supply Pradeep Yadav and other ministers of the government of Nepal and heads of security agencies also saw off PM Oli at TIA.The members of the Nepali delegation include Prime Minister Oli's wife Radhika Shakya, Foreign Minister Dr. Arju Rana Deuba, Prime Minister's Chief Advisor Bishnu Rimal, Foreign Secretary Seva Lamsal and senior officials of the Government of Nepal.The United Nations General Assembly has already started and high-level discussion is scheduled to run from September 24 to 28. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, PM Oli is scheduled to address the United Nations General Assembly on September 26. Oli is scheduled to return home on September 30.
