By Our Reporter After the main opposition CPN (Maoist Centre) started the session over the term 'Maoist violence' used by UML lawmaker Yogesh Bhattarai, which Speaker Devraj Ghimire denied removing from the record that the word(s) was not non-parliamentary, the government prorogued the parliament session effective from Monday midnight. President Ramchandra Paudel prorogued the budget sessions of both the House of Representatives and the National Assembly on Monday on the recommendation of the government. Had the Maoists not obstructed the session, it would have continued for a few days as some Bill were awaiting discussions and approval. But when the Maoist lawmakers continued obstructing the House, the government prorogue it to avoid further confrontation between the two communist parties. The final session was held on Monday in which the Maoists lifted their obstruction allowing Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to address the House.
