Kathmandu, September 12: The wide-body aircraft with call sign 9N-ALY arrived at the Tribhuvan International Airport after undergoing routine maintenance and completing the C-check procedures from the Maintenance and Overhaul organization – MRO, Italy, a company recognized by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The aircraft has obtained a Certificate of Release to Service (CRS) and now it can operate long-distance flights after completing the necessary process from the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN). After the arrival of the wide-body aircraft, NAC can provide smooth services to international destinations including Japan from its three aircraft in operation at present.
