Kathmandu, August 16: Foreign Minister Arzu Rana is going to Delhi for a three-day official visit from August 18 to 21. Indian foreign secretary Vikram Misri, during his visit to Kathmandu last week, had extended an invitation by Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to Rana for a visit to India. Accordingly, Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli is also willing to visit Delhi soon. Due to the political turmoil in Bangladesh and also government change in Bangkok, the BIMESTIC summit scheduled to be held in Bangkok may be postponed and PM Oli, who was scheduled to attend the BIMSTEC summit in Bangkok, on his way to New York to attend the UN General Assembly, is willing to visit Delhi on his way to New York.
