Kathmandu, August 8: Chief of Army Staff, Gen. Prabhuram Sharma, who will be retired after a month, is staying on a month-long leave starting tomorrow following the tradition of the Nepal Army. Gen Sharma handed over his duty and responsibility to Gen Ashok Raj Sigdel today at a function organized in the Nepal Army headquarters.   The government has assigned Sigdel as the acting CoAS of the Nepal Army effective tomorrow, August 9. Gen Sigdel is taking charge of the 45thCoAS after one month. CoAS Gen Sharma is going to retire from the CoAS after one month commanding three years as the Army chief.
