By Nirmal P. Acharya The US Department of Defense recently reported that Chinese and Russian bomber formations entered the Alaska Airlines Identification Zone. This is a high-profile pledge by China and Russia of their strategic capability and strategic determination to strike the US homeland if necessary. The world has experienced the classical colonial era, and the modern colonial era, and is now in the new colonial era marked by the unipolar hegemony of the US. An essential feature of the new colonial era is that the US, with the blessing of the American military, forces international transactions to be conducted entirely in the framework of the dollar. This is dollar hegemony. With dollar hegemony in hand, the US is carrying bundles of green paper (dollars) around the world to exchange resources and products. So the essence of the US is a financial empire. However, the financial empire is no longer able to meet the challenge of the alliance between China and Russia. Russia has unlimited resources, while China has unlimited manufacturing capacity. The alliance between China and Russia is a unique match in world history. Faced with such a power combination of China and Russia, the US has fallen into such a position: dare not enter the front battlefield. So the US can only carry out one performance after another: dragging a few subordinate countries to conduct military exercises and then convening a few other subordinate countries to hold a meeting (such as the G7 meeting or NATO meeting), but it does not dare to directly enter the Russia-Ukraine war or the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Back then, the US was always sending troops to Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, the Balkans, and Afghanistan. In the current triad of land-sea-air-based nuclear strike capabilities of China and Russia, consider how the unipolar hegemony of the US is maintained. Chinese and Russian strategic bomber formations are already cruising near the US mainland, and Russian and Chinese nuclear submarines are quietly approaching the US in the depths of the blue ocean. As we witness the rise of an anti-hegemonic alliance, the so-called big gift that the US sent to Nepal in a high-profile manner is nothing but a joke, they only pretend to care about the weak and marginalized in order to spread their degeneracy. Just like that old saying, the only thing worse than being an enemy of the US is being an ally of the US.
