Kathmandu, 11 November: Election to the House of Representatives in  Kathmandu constituency 5 seems to be very interesting. CPN-UML Senior Vice President Ishwar Pokharel is also a candidate in this constituency. He was also elected from this area in the general election, 2074 and the second election of the Constituent Assembly. Pokharel is looking forward to bagging a 'hat trick'  this time around too, However, this time, in order to break Pokharel's winning streak, the Left-Democratic Alliance has fielded Pradeep Paudel, a young leader of Nepali Congress, as a common candidate against Pokharel. Pokharel is expected to have a very interesting election contest with Poudel, who has created an image of a scholarly and skilled leader. Since Paudel has strong support of CPN (Maoist Center) and CPN (US), it is expected that the votes of those parties will also come to Paudel. There are more than 29  candidates vying for the House of Representatives, and there are very many independent candidates too. Therefore, the electoral competition in this area seems to be more interesting. Leader Paudel has been reiterating his commitment to provide as many opportunities as he can to his voters in uplifting lives of the people of his constituency. He has promised that he will never betray the voters. In course of door-to-door campaigning, he has been saying that has the passion and determination to work for the people and now he wanted to lead the party and the country. He has expressed his commitment to never make any difference in his behavior after winning. People's News Monitoring Service
