Early morning earthquake in Far West Province claims six lives
Kathmandu, 9 September: An earthquake measuring 6.6 on the Richter scale at 2.12 am Wednesday has claimed six lives and left five persons injured in the Khaptad National Park area in the Doti District, Far Western Region, according to the National Seismology and Research Center.
Tuesday evening also locals experienced 5.7 and 4.1 Richter scale jolts in the area.
