Kathmandu, 23 October: The Nepali Army organised different programmes focusing 'Solidarity in International Peace and Stability'  on the establishment Day of the United Nations. NA with participation of other security forces organised march-past, zumba, rally, band performance at the ground of the Army Headquarters. Chief of Army Staffs, Prabhu Ram Sharma, presented prize to the winners of different sports competition. A five-kilometer walkathon and 3,200 meter cycle race were also organised. Former Chief of Army Staffs, Inspector General of Armed Police Force Nepal, chief of National Investigation Department, office-bearers of diplomatic missions of different countries in Nepal and chiefs and representatives of different offices of the United Nations in Nepal were present on the occasion. The national army is hosting an international workshop on 'UN Peace Keeping Mission and Future Responsibilities' at the Army Headquarters today. People's News Monitoring Service
