Kathmandu, 16 October: An army athlete who participated in paragliding under the ongoing ninth national games in Pokhara died in an accident. 26-year-old Nisim Thapa of Nepal Tribhuvan Army Club died after he failed to control the paragliding.
Kaski Police Spokesperson DSP Sundar Tiwari informed that Thapa, fell within 5 minutes of flying when the paragliding became uncontrolled while the cross-country paragliding game was going on under the ninth national sports in Sarangkot.
