Machhapuchhre Bank Limited (MBL) has clarified that the former customer service center representatives Niranjan Pathak and Sikender Thakur, the former representatives of the bank at Sammarimai Rural Municipality-5 Rohinihwama and Lumbini Cultural Municipality-2 Mujhana in Rupandehi district, forging the cash receipt of the bank, had cheated the clients, and a complaint against them has been filed at the District Police Office. Issuing a public notice, the bank said that it had closed branchless customer service centers  due to dissatisfaction with their work and the bank shall not be held libel as the centers were no more into operation. Pathak and Thakur did not deposit the money through the bank's online system but gave a handwritten receipt. In order to book the culprits, the bank has urged all those who were duped, to  file a complaint at the Rupandehi District Police Office for further legal action.
