Indian national circulating fake Nepali currency arrested
Kathmandu, 4 October: The Nepal Police has made public one Indian national who was arrested by the Police on the charge of circulating fake Nepali currency.
He was arrested by the Police while paying Nepali currency with one thousand denominations against the purchase of a packet of cigarettes in Naraha Rural Municipality in Siraha.
The arrested Indian citizen is known as Rejaullaha, a resident of Sitamani District in India, according to the Siraha Police.
The Police have also recovered 31 pieces of 1000 rupees dominated fake currency, silver coins, silver bracelets and mobile sets.
